After many years of working within the hospitality and leisure industry Ashley Davies and his partner Lisa McNally decided to open up their very own up-market café wine bar and offer Shrewsbury a “little touch of class.”
Ashley’s Café Wine Bar will offer the perfect retreat for that relaxing time out from a busy day. With comfortable air-conditioned surroundings, waitress service over 2 floors, relaxing background music and a fine selection of light bites, antipasti, beverages and spirits, we are sure Ashley’s Café Wine Bar will be the perfect choice.
By evening the venue will provide the scene for a relaxing wine bar offering a selection of antipasti. There will be soft music, subtle lighting and a fine selection of wines, beers, spirits, and not to forget those mouthwatering cocktails!
On the second floor we have a fully air-conditioned function room available for private hire. The room holds approximately 30 people and whether it is for a business meeting or a special family occasion you can be assured that you will receive a first class service. We can offer a fine selection of light bites and antipasti to group bookings all of which would be served by our full waitress service.
Our bar will be headed by Bar Manager Mike Stokes, who has many years experience within the industry and who will be responsible for creating those tempting cocktails! Our Kitchen will be run by Chef Tom Jones, who has many years experience within the Hotel and Restaurant trade and who will be creating a sumptuous selection of fresh sandwiches, antipasti, cakes and pastries to temp your taste buds.
